

Longaberger's contributions to the American Cancer Society over the past 20 years have been generous to mirror the success of the annual campaign. Before the big economic downturn affected Longaberger as well as the rest of America, attendees used to see a big cardboard check presented to the ACS's "Dr. Bob" at the Longaberger Bee (Convention) every year and would get an update on how the money we had raised was being used. At one point, much of the Longaberger-funded research was on lessening the effects of lymphedema, which affects millions.
