Break out your Longaberger Pottery and Baskets to use for Thanksgiving, and you'll have beautifully cooked dishes transported safely and conveniently. Longaberger's Woven Traditions Pottery is vitrified china, making it extremely strong with even heat distribution to bake well. Woven Traditions holds heat or cold well, making it handy on a buffet.
One of my favorite things to bake in my Woven Traditions is hot rolls. These are from our Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday. Of course, my 9" x 13" Baking Dish is a retired design, but you can currently order one that will bake just as beautifully, in a solid color that will complement your food. I think the Paprika red color is perfect for rolls.
I carry my Baking Dish in the old favorite Medium Gathering Basket, which is currently retired. I love the Medium Gathering, to the point of having about 6 of them around including a J.W. Gathering Basket and a festive old Holiday Hostess one I only use at Christmas.
Of course, Longaberger offers a basket to hold every Woven Traditions piece. Carry your hot dish safely in a basket, often with two handles to make it extra stable, and tuck your serving utensil inside. I'd love for you to share holiday basket and pottery uses as well.
Aren't we fortunate that we have so much to be thankful for? I have truly been blessed this year, and I hope that you have had many blessings in your year also. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
